17/5/08 - Following Leni's gig at the Maze, supporting Nunja Tune's Bonobo and Deep Sound Channel, Leni is compared twice to Lamb whilst the write up on the gig guide describes her as "Bjork with a twist of PJ Harvey". Bjork goes back into the lead.
10/5/08 - Sean Llyod and Carl Bryan run into Leni in a club & add some more names: Sage Francis, Buck 65, DJ Shadow and old favourite Tori Amos.
7/5/08 - Pete Brown of toxicpete.co.uk compares Leni to Mike Oldfield (and Body to Tubular Bells). He also made a very passing (and I'd like to stress how passing it was) comparison to Dido. I don't want to put that on the tally, but I will do so in the Interest Of Science.
6/5/08 - Breaking the intense, comparison-free dry spell, Dan of VoidTV describes Leni as "a real good blend of Lamb, Bjork, NIN, Postal Service yet quite original, and interesting lyrics too." The Icelandic princess steps up to joint first place, whilst the men begin to make real waves on the board. Plus, a brand new entry. Excellent progress.
18/4/08 - Sean Lloyd compares Leni to The Postal Service. Watch out ladies, there's a new male contingent gaining fast.
12/4/08 - Getting fully into the spirit of the game, Simon Andrews (of Simon Andrews fame) jokingly refers to Leni as "a bit like slayer". And that definitely counts, dammit. The board had a new underdog.
9/4/08 - Carl Bryan of Dinner Music For Hungry Cannibals says that Leni "always reminds me of the Potal Service". Quite happy to accept that, The Postal Service begin to make their presence known on the board.
8/4/08 - Mark Northfield, an exponent of "alt-classical", defines Leni's work as "a little bit Regina Spektor, a little bit Imogen Heap". Immi takes the lead, but we have a brand new name to add to the board, and you know how happy that makes me.
17/3/08 - A fellow dreadhead on teh interwebs says Leni is a cross between Imogen Heap and The Postal Service, leading us straight into a nail-biting three way girl tie. And a newcomer to the board.
7/3/08 - Von, a creative designer, compares Leni's work to that of Tori Amos, who now draws level with the Icelandic contingent.
1/3/08 - Pete of Ded Pop and Jammy Toast refers to Leni's Burn as "like a female Trent Reznor". We have a newcomer to the board!
22/01/08 - IK:TOMS compares Body to Medulla. Bjork takes the lead.
15/1/08 - Boyfriend tells me that someone he was playing my tracks to said I was "bjorkish". Plus one for the icelandic princess, now tied with Imogen and Tori. Whoop.
