Leni Ward spent 2007 writing and recording her album, Body, and is now preparing it for release.

6/5/08 - A new gig booking: Leni will play The Betsey Trotwood on June 19th.

4/5/08 - The album is set for release on 4/8/08. Woo!

2/5/08 - Ape TV (Sky #196, TV for the alpha male...) played a Leni Ward music video on their music show tonight.

30/4/08 - DJ Albert Freeman played Leni's Catechisms on his Eclectic Mainline radio show tonight. We highly recommend Albert's show.

24/4/08 - You can now see the first Leni Ward videos on the music page, or at T. A. Records' youtube page.

19/4/08 - More prints from the darkroom, and a new addition to the comparison tally.

9/4/08 - Leni's been beavering away in her darkroom and has added a whole new range of prints to the gallery, along with a couple more self portraits (originally seen in the blog).

8/4/08 - Leni has made her very first vblog.

2/4/08 - A new gig booking: Leni will play The Vic Inn on August 1st.

25/3/08 - Note to all of you who have preordered the album: the albums arrived today and they look utterly gorgeous. However. There is a serious fault on the discs. The label and I are working to correct this, but it will delay the time in which the orders can be sent out by several weeks. I'm really sorry. If this is a problem, please email info@leniward.co.uk and we will of course reimburse you.

12/3/08 - Leni Ward's tracks "My Heart" and "Blank Space" have been selected to be playlisted in stores and eateries around the country, including ASDA, Costcutter and Harry Ramsden's.

10/3/08 - A new gig booking: Leni will play the CITY-ZEN night on 12/4/08 in Derby.

9/3/08 - "My Heart" was played in the early hours of this morning on Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing show on BBC 6 Music. The show will be available for the next 7 days via the "Listen Again" feature on the BBC website.

4/3/08 - Leni's album has been mastered by Tim Debney of Fluid Mastering (Thom Yorke, Low, British Sea Power, Lily Allen).

24/2/08 - A new gig booking: Leni will play the Lipstick Lounge at Niche in Nottingham on 1/5/08.

17/2/08 - After 10 months of writing and recording, Leni Ward's album is now complete. Watch this space for details.
